Abstract
Precise and secure node localization is one of key problems for applications based on wireless sensor networks. Recently multidimensional scaling-based localization algorithms made a great achievement in performance, but this algorithm is without security design. This paper analyze the security weaknesses of the MDS-MAP location algorithm basic on introducing the theory of multidimensional scaling-based localization algorithms and propose a secure MDS-MAP scheme to effectively withstand the typical sybil attack. Simulation results approve it to be effective.
