  • Abstract
    To obtain an areal density of 100 Gbit/in2, magneto-optical (MO) technologies are attractive from the perspectives of magnetic field modulation recording, magnetic domain expansion readout, and high read/write cyclability. In this paper, we discuss the micro magnetic mechanism and compare the domain expansion MO schemes.
