  • Abstract
Outward Bound, as a kind of activity tourism, has gradually being accepted by tourists to strengthen the team spirit and improve individual quality. Satisfaction measurement of Outward Bound tourists is a hot issue for the academic at present, however, the original target of Outward Bound tourism has still not focused in the long term, whether it is achieved or not. This study aims to study the relationship between social-demographic and participating motivation of Outward Bound tourists and the perceived performance measurement, by developing SERVQUAL model combining generic dimensions of the model and the designated targets achieved by Outward Bound tourism. After analysis of 363 valid samples from on-site and web-based investigation as the object of Shiyan Lake Ecological Park, Changsha city, the finding shows that individual education, occupation, marriage, monthly income and tourism motivation had an association with the perceived performance of Outward Bound tourists, except individual gender, age and marital status, and the original target can be achieved by outward Bound tourism. Finally, some recommendations are put forward in the study.
