Abstract
So far there are many research achievements of Ad hoc network which obtained through the software simulation. However, unfortunately, software simulation can only reflect part of the problems and cannot fully reflect the real scenarios which are complicated and dynamic connectivity. For this reason, the paper describes the implemented method of Ad hoc network Terminal, short for ANT, based on the embedded Arm-Linux. The nodes in this test communicate with each other using IEEE802.11 in the Ad hoc working mode. And a typical multi-hop routing protocol named Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) is used in this test. Then delay are measured under different scenarios. The experimental results show that ANT can work efficiently and reliably. Finally, further work is specified.
