Abstract
An experiment using a 1.3 μm 40 km fiber-optic microwave multicarrier transmission system for multi-channel satellite FM-TV was demonstrated. All the photoelectric modules used in the system are domestic products. The system characteristic carrier to noise ratio (CNR) was measured and analysed. The analysed results agree well with the measured data. The total light power loss of the 40 km fiber link was 17 dB. The system exhibited stable operation in the long-term experiment
