  • Abstract
    Electric vehicle(EV) which is a potential green vehicle, could solve contaminated problems and resource constraints, and is an important part of strong smart grid. Nowadays EV has three charging methods, such as traditional charging, quick charging and mechanical charging. The last method is the main trend of EV charging methods. In this paper, the skills of mechanical charging are compared and analysed at home and abroad. At the same time, achieves of electric bus mechanical charging system made by Shandong electric power research institute and applications are presented. The development suggestions of EV charging system are proposed finally.
