Abstract

SOA is a new methodology to be used in the software development in recently. But the interrelated standards and specifications about SOA are very complicated and confused for most users. After analyzing the misapprehending on the application of SOA, it gives some reasoning and suggestion for the uses of SOA, and shows a sample about the light-weight SOA product model. A new approach based on SOA and Web service component oriented technologies has been proposed and applied in the refinery enterprise. The relevant technologies about SOA and Web service to realize ERP and other large systems have been researched in detail.
