Abstract
A novel 8-term linear model for precision characterization of total power radiometer and for error corrected noise temperature measurements is presented. This model describes dependance of the effective noise temperature of noise source measured upon input mismatch, gain and the four noise parameters of the radiometer. Its validity has been verified experimentally.<>
