Abstract
International construction projects are typical cases of researches in the field of risk management. The factors of human and nature which influence the success of construction are more uncertain and complex. This paper discusses some representative points in risk identification and classification of international construction projects. Risk allocation as a powerful methodology which improves the quality of risk management is presented. The importance and advantages of risk allocation is introduced. A framework of risk allocation for international construction projects is proposed.
