Abstract
In this paper, we describe an improvement of a fully 3D volume integral formulation for the accurate electromagnetic analysis of complex 3D conducting structures, in the quasi-stationary limit. We discuss how the relevant full matrix describing the far interactions can be conveniently reduced to a sparse matrix where the full part is limited to the surface interactions. A simple numerical example is given showing the advantages of the proposed approach.
