Abstract
Shielding effectiveness and transmitted field distribution are calculated by using the finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD) and perfectly matched layer technique in this paper. An infinite metallic plate with an aperture illuminated by a steady sinusoidal plane wave is modeled. Some numerical results and discussions are given
