Abstract
This paper presents a novel application of MUSIClike processing approach for an underwater hybrid sensor array comprising of single acoustic vector sensor and an array of omni-directional pressure sensors. It is shown in this paper that our proposed approach can help to achieve good left-right ambiguity discrimination performance even when only one vector sensor is used in a linear pressure sensor array. The proof-of-concept is performed with real data processing and the results are very encouraging.
