Abstract

This paper presents 3 cases during the acceptance tests of the high-voltage transformers and bushings recently acquired by Itaipu (*): i) the VFT - very fast transients overvoltage tests carried out on high voltage transformers and bushings; ii) the partial discharging PD measurement carried out on factory in the bushings type SF₆ /air; iii) the accident on core transformer (voltage : 241,5 kV; 470 MVA; 50 Hz), in which was observed displacement / elastic deformation.
