Abstract
In this paper, the performance of parallel resonant converter (PRC) including the effect of transformer leakage inductance is investigated. Analysis of a second order PRC shows that higher current gain can be achieved for a particular range of resonant frequencies if the transformer leakage inductance is also included. Simulation results show that the optimum value of leakage inductance to achieve maximum current gain is 10%
