Abstract
A novel configuration is shown which realizes a near perfect 180-degree bit digital phase shifter performance. The configuration provided amplitude and phase errors of less than /spl plusmn/0.5 dB and /spl plusmn/5 degrees respectively over 6 to 18 GHz. When operated as bi-phase (BPSK) modulator, it provided greater than 25 dB of carrier suppression over the wide bandwidth.<>
