  • Abstract
The urban rail transit which has large capacity will become main transfer way and change the structure of transfer to certain extent in urban railway passenger hub. The research on the influencing factors for choosing urban rail transit is premise for the optimal arrangement of capacity on urban rail transit which matches with transportation demand in urban railway passenger hub. According to the survey and data analysis, the paper discusses the influencing factors for choosing urban rail transit, acquires the scores of factor which are extracted and orthogonal rotated by principal component analysis, then the scores are regressed by Logistic regression on level 0.05. The influencing factors model for choosing urban rail transit in urban railway passenger hub is established. The influencing weight and operational mechanism on traffic mode choice were obtained. Finally, we apply the model to Wenzhou Train station, the results indicate that the convenience of rail transit, travel time, distance and economy have great effect on traffic mode choice, but the age, gender and occupation have little effect.
