  • Abstract
    Housing problem is a best solution problem with multi limits, which are related to specific geographic bodies. A geographic decision support system is formed for house site selection evaluation based on spatial and network analysis of ArcGIS and the use of the system is demonstrated with a practical example in Xi´an. Various factors are defined by time-based distance or straight-line distance and overlaid to form the site selection result.
