Abstract
According to the requirement of the drive of light electric auto car, a vehicle-wheel FRM motor was designed. Considering the FRM as the combination of SPMSM and speed- down gear, the mathematic and simulation model was established in dq reference frame. Using the control scheme of id = 0, the process of startup and run was simulated with rating load. Under the condition of the constant ratio of inverter voltage to frequency, the machine experiment of drive and no-load was carried out, the results showed that the wave of voltage and current was close to sine.
