Abstract
The paper aims to analyze the impact of hands-offs on the delivery of M-commerce customer services mathematically. It was found that occurrence of hands-off increases the execution time of transactions by roll backing and re-executing the transactions. The overall delivery time of a service, arithmetic addition of the execution time of constituent transactions, is increased to greater extend. With the increase in number of hands-offs, the execution time of individual transactions increases to huge amounts there by making the value of service delivery time higher and even unacceptable. Such a value leads to rejection by customers and finally the rejection of the organization in the completive world. The data consistency protocols aiming at roll back free mechanisms and Software engineering practices for engineering optimal code is the need for fastest & consistent service providing.
