Abstract
The authors have proposed the BCP protocol that enables remote controllers to communicate compatibly with all equipment regardless of manufacturers. We have also developed the platform of universal controllers and the UC adapters for domestic appliances based on proposed BCP/ECP specifications. This combination allowed for full interoperability in the integrated model system featuring UCs with bi-directional communication, as expected.
