Abstract
This paper analyses the differences of residual chorine decay between reclaimed water and drinking water through the experiments. The residual chlorine decay of reclaimed water is divided into two phases: high velocity phage at chlorine feeding stage and low velocity phage after that, both of which can be simulated by first-order reaction model. Then, taking a reclaimed water distribution network for example, a residual chlorine decay model is set up, which is first-order reaction kinetics equation. The model is verified by monitoring data and the result shows that simulation values have good agreement with monitoring data.
