  • Abstract
A city three-dimensional foundation information consultant system is developed based on random field theory to predict unknown geotechnical parameters. Taking the geographical information system (GIS) as development platform, the general structure module and database of the system is designed. By means of writing programs in Mapinfo, Visual Basic and Excel, dynamic multi-way inquiry, statistics can be carried on. Random field prediction of engineering geotechnical parameters can be obtained with optimum estimation. Especially the output of visual prediction database and three-dimensional prediction graph may provide a good policy-making support service for the city foundation information management. As an example, this developed system is applied to manage engineering geological data of drilling holes in a city successfully.
