Abstract
In order to take the effective measure to jam the enemy´s navigation system, GPS jamming shells, as the latest type of the jamming equipment, is widely used recently. In the process of the application of navigation interference, a number of GPS jamming shells are usually distributed to cover the target area without any vacancy, but it´s a complex problem to distribute the shells to use the least quantities of shells, cover the maximal area and receive the signals of the strongest power. In this essay, not only is a genetic algorithm used to solve the problem of the optimum distribution and the coverage of GPS jamming shells, but also the simulation of the algorithm has been given. The result of simulation indicates that the algorithm can solve the problem of the shells distribution and on the other hand the algorithm has been provided with good astringency and stability.
