Abstract
Toward a constant demand for sharing and managing available resources on the Internet, users need better tools and applications for providing resource authorization as well as tools for recommendation about resource sharing. Access control permissions should be independent of resource physical locations and types available on different web servers. This paper presents a novel approach for access control and recommendation by exploiting users FOAF Profiles, resource metadata and traceability information, seemingly captured during the resources´ publication process.
