  • Abstract
    A couple of pivotal techniques on 3D forestation simulation based on direct 3D-Interaction are introduced in the paper. To simulate 3D forestation a specific data model is developed and adopted based on object-oriented methods. And a virtual environment is built through modeling and realistic rendering. The paper realized natural and efficient planning and design for forestation by direct 3D-interaction in VR. Finally the paper presents realization of the 3D forestation to test its effectiveness and efficiency.
