  • Abstract
Silicon photodiodes were studied with respect to their applicability to personal dosimeter. A new concept of X- and γ-ray dosimeter with two identical silicon photodiodes operating as pulse energy counters has been proposed. Such dosimeter enables a flat sensitivity characteristic to be attained over an energy range of 10 keV -1.3 MeV with ±20% accuracy
