Abstract
In the adaptation system providing personalized service for mobile and fixed users, improvement of content quality and decrease of user wait time are contradictory requirements. Existing studies only care about the ordinary network QoS in the sense of reducing user wait time. In this paper, we give out a formula that combines the content quality and wait time for the user perceived Web page quality. At the arrival of a user request, the perceived service quality is evaluated and will be used as a reference in adaptation processing, queue scheduling and admission control. The system capacity is optimized under the constraint of user perceived QoS. The Web adaptation system architecture with quality evaluation is designed. Via the Session/Web page/Packet structural model based on the user behavior, the system performance is simulated. The results show that our service quality control approach is effective
