Extension of the DBP field strength prediction programme to cellular mobile radio

Results from field strength measurements at Mannheim in the 900 MHz range were used to extend the validity range of an existing field strength prediction method to urban small cell mobile radio situations. Some aspects of the measurements concerning base station antenna height, street orientation, and the base station and mobile antenna radiation pattern are presented in more detail; the performance of the new prediction programme version is shown by comparison to measured values
