  • Abstract
Simulation of nonlinear systems with multidimensional inputs usually requires numerical techniques. CFAR algorithms are examples of such systems that maintain constant false alarm rate in radar applications. A useful tool for the simulation of low probability events such as false alarm (Pfa) in radar systems or bit error ratio (BER) in communications systems is importance sampling(IS). The article proposes a graphical method for monitoring the multiparametric modifications of the input processes in order to overcome the limitations of the classical IS schemes where only one parameter is modified
