Abstract
The deposition features and properties of oxide coatings produced by vacuum-arc process have been investigated. A possibility to control of the coating material structure by means of coating process parameters is shown by the example of titanium oxide. The thermal protection coatings of ZrO2+8%Y2O3 were deposited on moving blades of the electric power gas turbine for testing in field conditions. The main process parameters of the oxide deposition formation which effect greatly its characteristics are the pressure of the reaction gas, the back bias voltage on the back base, its temperature and the cathode temperature
