  • Abstract
    Online assessment is easy to adopt and implement in any organization. Scale brings complexity, however well organized and predefined strategy reduces any potential risk of failure Authoring the question bank, reusability of various topics/questions across assessments design and review along with deployment method act as key factors for the success of online assessment engine in the organization. The entire activity of development of question bank till the stage of effective deployment in production should be seamless and error fee It should be ensured that candidate as end user receives the assessment which is not only bug free, but also as per the defined scope and curriculum of the subject. The Quality of the question bank decides the competitiveness of the assessment evaluation. I n this paper we have discussed various question bank design models and associated deployment strategies for a complex environment. We have devised a methodology to have intermediate checks in order to ensure that question bank just not passes through one stage but many in repeated order before final deployment. This results in an effective approach of managing the question banks.
