  • Abstract
Software outsourcing has become an important force to promote the world economy rapid development. The improvement of the knowledge absorption capacity of R&D teams in software outsourcing companies will help enhance their business capacity. Now the business modes of software outsourcing have mainly the single industry development mode and the single function upgrade mode. Under this single development model, the members of R&D team are prone to appear knowledge paralysis due to focusing long-term on a particular area, which will lead to knowledge absorption attenuation and even pause. This paper proposes the concept of knowledge absorption cycle and proposes introducing the "knowledge catfish" to make the R&D team maintain the sensitivity to knowledge. This paper also studies the action mechanism of "knowledge catfish" based on the knowledge spiral theory and the relationship between knowledge distance and knowledge absorption, proposes the ways obtaining "knowledge catfish".
