Abstract
Summary form only given. We present our new theoretical results following the investigation of a completely new type of a tunable THz oscillator based on bulk GaAs, synchronously pumped by subpicosecond laser pulses. By using ultrashort laser pulses, we can take advantage of extremely high peak laser intensities.
