  • Abstract
    The frame structure is a familiar structural form in the civil engineering field. In order to detect the damages of structure and avoid unexpected invalidation, a new method of damage detection based on multi-resolution entropy was presented in this paper. It used wavelet multi-resolution analysis technique to dispose structure damage signal, and then utilized multi-resolution entropy to pick-up damage character information. Finally, through the experiment research of three floor frame-structure, the experimental results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective for detecting damages of frame structures without the mathematics model of detected object.
