Abstract
Visible and near-infrared light can treat all human diseases. Light plus non-toxic dyes called photodynamic therapy (PDT) can kill cancer cells, pathogens and destroy unwanted tissue. In contrast light alone can reduce inflammation, stimulate healing and tissue repair.
