  • Abstract
    Web-based Education is one of the directions of education development. The primary teaching mode in Chinese colleges is in classroom now, and to set up the network aided teaching platform (NATP) is a feasible way. Based on campus network it will finish the conformity of teaching assistant resources in the unit of course, by applying open source CMS under SCORM standard. Each course has the common modules of course guide, network classroom, teaching resource, homework, study communion and on-line test, as well as the feature module individually. NATP is set up by teachers and teaching management personnel. It incarnates the specialty knowledge structure and characters of course and teaching. NATP achieve not only a real time, dynamic, mutual and consistent courses´ platform, but also sets up the new teaching mode of “classroom teaching as prime, network teaching as assistance”. This is a valuable research to change the traditional teaching mode.
