Abstract
The mixed reality technology, with which scenes of the real world and the virtual world generated by CG are merged in real time, has been drawing considerable attention in the fields of entertainment, manufacturing, and so on. This work presents a prototype support system for dance training and education with the mixed reality technology and motion capture. Several functions which are thought to be significant for dance education, training and learning are devised and evaluated. Some user interface functions for this kind of new interactive systems are also proposed.
