  • Abstract
    A genetic algorithm for QoS routing is presented to optimize network resource utilization. In the proposed algorithm, we take into consideration the resource consumption and load distribution. The aim is to select a path consuming less resource and balancing the load in the network, which contributes to using network resource reasonably and decreasing the congestion probability. The GA based on network resource utilization is described and simulation results are given
