Abstract
Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels offer the potential of dramatically increasing data-rates or improving capacity. A number of novel methods have been proposed but this paper shows, at a system-level, the performance advantage attainable from standard (3GPP UTRA) compatible methods.
