  • Abstract
    An analysis of the effect of parasitics and reverse recovery on harmonic distortion in a class D audio amplifier is performed in this paper. The error sources under investigation are modelled empirically as an amplitude error, after which an existing strategy based on Newton´s numerical method is implemented to simulate its effect within the audible band. The results are compared to existing timing errors to determine its degree of dominance.
