Abstract
The authors propose a novel inner coordinates expression for the asymptotic surface-to-edge integral reduction of physical optics and fringe wave currents. These coordinates lead to explicit forms of the physical optics components; fringe wave components and geometrical theory of diffraction equivalent edge currents without false singularities. They have an advantage in predicting finite diffracted fields for arbitrary aspects of illumination and observation including shadow and reflection boundaries. The numerical check assures the validity of these currents
