Abstract
In this paper, an algorithm of parameter optimization for generalized Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) model is proposed. The structure of generalized T-S model which is of lower complexity of model and higher precision, is obtained by using genetic algorithm (GA). For searching the optimal parameters of generalized T-S model, the matrix coding is adopted. The solution of numerical simulation shows that this new method is effective
