Abstract
Delta-Sigma ADCs comprising the modulator and decimation filter is a hot architecture for multi-standard wireless applications because of its re-configurability. This paper gives an overview on the considerations of the decimation filter design for six popular standards: GSM, WCDMA, 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g and WiMAX. We use two strategies of sample frequencies that lead to different solutions as cascaded decimation filters and verify them by Matlab. Through the comparison we can see how sampling frequency affects the complexity of the analog and digital in the receiver
