Abstract
The omni-axis random vibration environment characteristics of repetitive shock machine, a new vibration equipment for reliability enhancement testing, is roundly studied. Firstly the omni-axis vibration acceleration is sampled by using triple axis accelerator under different intensity of vibration. Secondly the all-sided characteristics of the vibration signal is extracted according to related index by using mathematic and physical descriptions such as time series stationary and cyclostationary test, Gaussianity statistic test, power spectrum density(PSD), shock response spectrum(SRS), amplitude possibility density function(APDF), peak average cycle times(PACT), higher-order statistics, accumulated fatigue damage rate factor(AFDRF). And the corresponding physical explanations are also presented. Furthermore comparing this new repetitive shock vibration with conventional Electro Dynamic vibration, the analysis results show that repetitive shock machine is better than Electro Dynamic not only at the aspects of frequency scope, peak amplitude distribution and stresses loading rate, but also its ellipsoid vibration can load omni-axis stress so as to cause failure effectively. Finally the vibration principle of the repetitive shock machine is briefly illustrated from vibration table construction, pneumatic hammers distribution, vibration stimulation mechanism and control strategy. By understanding the characteristics and mechanism of the new cyclostationary and non-Gaussian omni-axis vibration environment, the testing machine would be of great efficiency.
