Abstract
This paper presents an implementation of direct voltage vector control theory, in which a brushless DC motor is controlled by direct switching of inverter circuits using voltage vectors. The method is simpler than a conventional method based on a current control loop and requiring current sensing. To ensure robust control in the presence of load variations, sliding mode control of speed and position is applied
