Abstract
The International Electrotechnical Commission, IEC is based with its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The IEC is the only organisation in the world creating electrotechnical standards that have worldwide acceptance and support. IEC currently has some 65 member countries represented mostly by their standards committees and some 50 affiliate members. This paper looks at the EMC related work of the IEC.
