Abstract
In this paper, we present a nonlinear observer design using trajectory linearization. The technique is applicable to nonlinear, nonminimum-phase, unstable plants. Vanishing perturbation theory has been applied to assure stability. Trajectory linearization is shown by way of an example to be an effective method for nonlinear observer design.
