Abstract
Nowadays, due to the popularization of the mobile devices and the enhancement of this kind of technologies, a new computing paradigm where the users interact with an intelligent environment is emerging. Context-aware information systems is an arising topic with a great demand in the field of the new technologies. The scientific community has realized of the relevance of the context-aware information and has developed new kinds of services and applications. This paper presents a novel context-aware information system for mobile devices based on Bluetooth wireless technology. Some of its features are: it provides a delivering information service using a push action, it doesn´t require to install any client in the users´ device and it supports a great variety of multimedia contents
