  • Abstract
The most commonly used MMIC power splitters and combiners are the Wilkinson, bus-bar and parallel matching networks. The Lange couplers, distributed transmission line combiners and travelling wave combiners, whilst capable of monolithic implementation at mm-wave frequencies, are still generally used in an off-chip hybrid arrangement. The most interesting broadband techniques are the synthesised matching networks and the Dolph-Chebychev tapered transmission line approaches
