Abstract
This paper studies the increased production of renewable energy in Denmark. Is it possible to penetrate a large amount of renewable energy? Is it possible to consume the surplus energy in a low demand situation? How is it possible to share the surplus energy seen from the consumer (green energy/cheap energy) and the distributor (avoid overload of grid), point of view. Is it possible for the consumer to control the energy even though there is no urgent need for energy? These questions could help make the electrical grid even smarter! The paper is divided into 3 areas. Transmission of fluctuating energy, Energy sharing algorithm and Control application for heat pumps.
